Last updated October 2026
The short version: Rescheduling is always free. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before; after that it’s £50. Here’s the detail.
Who you’re booking with
Sessions are run by Carey Willetts through Brockley Fields Studios Ltd, South East London, a VAT-registered company. For anything about a booking, email [email protected].
Booking and paying
- Prices on the site include VAT at 20%.
- You pay in full when you book, by card on Stripe’s secure page. Your booking is confirmed when you get the confirmation email.
- Packages of four sessions are paid upfront. You can book the dates straight away or later, and should use them within 12 months of paying.
- The free 15-minute call is free. There’s nothing to pay and nothing to cancel.
Rescheduling and cancelling
- Rescheduling is always free. Use the link in your confirmation email, or just reply to it.
- Cancel up to 24 hours before the session and you get a full refund.
- Cancel within 24 hours of the session and £50 is kept to cover the time; the rest is refunded.
- If you don’t turn up and haven’t let me know, it counts as a late cancellation.
- If I have to cancel, you choose: a new time or a full refund.
Your 14-day right to cancel
If you’re booking as an individual (not a business), the law gives you 14 days from booking to change your mind and get your money back.
If you ask for a session to take place within those 14 days and it goes ahead, you can’t cancel that session afterwards. If you cancel a package within the 14 days, you’re refunded for any sessions you haven’t had yet.
None of this takes away your legal rights.
On the day
- Sessions last an hour and start on time. If you’re running late, the session still ends at the booked time.
- In person: the full studio address comes by email 48 hours before.
- Online: the video link is in your confirmation and reminder emails. If the call fails on my side, we’ll rebook for free.
- You’re welcome to record our sessions.
Songs we write together
If we write something together in a session, we’re co-writers. We’ll agree the songwriting splits on the day and write them down. Anything you bring in that’s already yours stays yours.
If something goes wrong
Email [email protected] and I’ll put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
